Osamu is Kenshi, Emi, and Megumi's father. He's a journalist for a very popular newspaper where the main bulding is located in Tokyo. Osamu is also one of the best writers there and is known for his weekly column where he speaks his mind about different subjects that's happening in the news. He seems like a calm person at first, but he can also have a temper of his own when something not right happens. He used to cook for the whole family when Makoto was teaching at the dojo, but now that she retired from teaching, he's letting her do it. He also admires his wife for her skills in martial arts.
