This website is home to the online comic/manga My Guardian Angel (MGA). MGA is a series I created a while ago, back in my high school days (this makes me sound old ^^;).

I do feel it came a long way since the beginning. It was a bit of a coincidence I created the series; I was sitting at my desk one night and just started sketching around to the beat of old anime music tapes playing in my earphones. I ended up drawing a character, which would be Meiko at that time, and the story of this character popped in my head. Of course the design of Meiko back then and what it looks now do not have much in common - maybe except the hairstyle! The story and characters also changed a lot since then. Koji's name was Seigi at one point and the four guys', Kiyone's, and almost everyone in there had different style and a bad hairdo *lol*

There were no reason for me to create this story; I just wanted to create something by myself, for myself. The more I worked on it, the more the idea of an anime series was appealing and the more I thought, "yeah this could be something others could get into". I kept telling myself, "I'll do a manga out of it", but I thought my drawings were quite poor at that time, so I stuck with the script format episodes or a while.

I did made some poor attempt at the manga before the year 2004, but was too embarassed to show anyone. So come around late 2004, and I get around to do the first MGA page as we know it now. There was not a lot of updates since then because I was in my last year of college along with a part-time job.

The manga is still a learning process as most can see and it will improve over time (it already has since the first couple pages). I hope those who started reading will stick around to see My Guardian Angel grow. It already grew so much the past 5 years, I can only imagine where it will be in the next years to come
